Soccer Game Preview: Paradise Honors vs. Thunderbird

The Paradise Honors Panthers will face off against the Thunderbird Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Paradise Honors is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Monday, Paradise Honors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Moon Valley. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Rockets are ranked 159th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ethan Olari was the driving force of Paradise Honors' attack as he scored both of Paradise Honors' goals, bringing his season total up to 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Thunderbird's offense. They came up short against Goldwater on Monday, falling 3-0.

Paradise Honors' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for Thunderbird, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6-2.
