Baseball Recap: Lindblom Takes a Loss

The Lindblom Eagles lost 11-4 to the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindblom saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miguel Villegas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles and two RBI. Another was Andres Aguirre, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Lindblom's loss dropped their record down to 1-18-1. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they moved to 9-22 with that win, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Lindblom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, they are taking a road trip to face off against Thornwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals are facing the Thunderbirds at the right time seeing as the Thunderbirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
