Now that the high school soccer season has drawn to a conclusion, we have crunched the numbers in search of the most improved Nebraska girls soccer teams as determined by the MaxPreps Nebraska Girls Soccer Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

This week's Top 10 is based on the number of spots a team improved in 2016's season-ending rankings compared with where they were rated at the end of last season.

While Roncalli Catholic did not improve its won-loss record by as many games as some Cornhusker State squads, the Crimson Pride did climb 23 spots from their finish a year ago, grabbing the top spot in this week's Top 10.

Columbus Lakeview, Scottsbluff and Millard South fall into line behind Pat Stoffel's club in the Nos. 2-3-4 spots after moving up 48 places collectively. Despite landing a tie with Waverly and Gering at 14 improved rungs each, Elkhorn rounds out the Top 5 after improving its won-loss record by 5.5 games and topping all of the programs in this week's poll in that regard. The Vikings were four games better than a year ago and the Bulldogs increased their stock by three contests.

While none of our Top 10 members played their way into their respective championship matches, Millard South, Omaha Gross Catholic, Roncalli and Elkhorn did extend their seasons into the Nebraska Girls State Soccer Championships held at Creighton University's Morrison Stadium earlier this spring. Gering and Lincoln Northeast were the only members of this week's Top 10 to finish below .500 in 2016.
