Basketball Recap: Grinnell Comes Up Short

Grinnell was the 37-21 winner over Benton when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 48-40 to the Bobcats on Tuesday.

Grinnell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Benton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grinnell will challenge Williamsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Benton, they will square off against South Tama County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
