Baseball Recap: Malakoff Finds Home Field Redemption Against Edgewood

There's no place like home for Malakoff, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Edgewood Bulldogs by a score of 7-2 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Wyatt Wallace was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zain Jones, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Malakoff's record now sits at 14-10. As for Edgewood, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-9.

As of now, neither Malakoff nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
