There's no place like home for Lufkin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Nacogdoches Dragons on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 back in March.

Lufkin has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Nacogdoches, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-18.

Looking ahead, Lufkin will challenge Tyler at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Nacogdoches, they will face off against Whitehouse at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
