Soccer Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Marion Giants. If New Haven were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Marion when the teams met back in October of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Marion, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coming up, New Haven will take on East Noble at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Noble's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Marion, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-0 victory against Tri-Central on the 25th.
