Softball Recap: Salmon Triumphs

Salmon won the last time they faced Ririe and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Savages came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 14-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Savages considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The win got Salmon back to even at 1-1. As for Ririe, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salmon will challenge Gooding at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Savages' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Senators have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Ririe, they will take on Firth at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
