Basketball Recap: Grand Meadow Picks Up 12th Consecutive Victory

Grand Meadow waltzed into their contest on Monday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals 81-41. The Superlarks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Grand Meadow's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.9 points. As for Lewiston-Altura, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grand Meadow will head out to take on LeRoy-Ostrander at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewiston-Altura, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wabasha-Kellogg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
