Soccer Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

After flying high against Blue Island Eisenhower on Saturday, Trinity came back down to earth. The Blazers fell just short of the Resurrection Bandits by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Trinity couldn't quite close it out.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Resurrection, their win bumped their record up to 3-5-1.

Coming up, Trinity will head out on the road to take on Chicago University at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Resurrection, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Montini Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Resurrection will be up against Montini Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
