Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Clover Garden School

Clover Garden School had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Ascend Leadership Aviators 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-9, 25-18.

Halle Russell paced Clover Garden School's offense, picking up seven kills. Russell got some help from Hanna Tickle and her eight assists. Russell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Clover Garden School's record now sits at 10-3. As for Ascend Leadership, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Clover Garden School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Southern Wake Academy on the 18th. As for Ascend Leadership, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Heritage Leadership Academy on the 18th.
