Volleyball Recap: Olympia Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Olympia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Innovation Bulls by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in March.

Olympia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-21.

Olympia had a senior duo take command as Will Edwards had 28 assists and four digs and Jacob Lee had 13 digs and two aces. Those 28 assists set a new season-high mark for Edwards.

The victory got Olympia back to even at 5-5. As for Innovation, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Olympia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Brantley on the 4th. As for Innovation, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Liberty on the 3rd.
