Basketball Game Preview: North Penn Knights vs. William Tennent Panthers

The North Penn Knights will square off against the William Tennent Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, North Penn was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Bensalem.

Meanwhile, William Tennent unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 74-52 to Upper Dublin. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Cardinals are ranked second).

North Penn has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for William Tennent, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

North Penn was able to grind out a solid victory over William Tennent in their previous meeting back in January of 2018, winning 85-77. Does North Penn have another victory up their sleeve, or will William Tennent turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
