Baseball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia's last matchup with Aquinas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Blugolds, falling 10-1. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Raiders who fell 5-3 when the teams previously met back in May of 2021.

Arcadia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Lightfoot, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Arcadia has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Aquinas, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

Coming up, Arcadia will challenge Somerset at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
