Softball Recap: East Henderson Takes a Loss

East Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 21-0 to the Pisgah Bears. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Bears when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Henderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shelby McCall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That's the most hits McCall has posted since back in February.

East Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Pisgah, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, East Henderson will head out on the road to take on Smoky Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pisgah, they will host North Henderson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pisgah's pitchers better be ready for this one: North Henderson has averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
