Basketball Recap: Charlotte Comes Up Short

Charlotte was the 61-49 winner over Sexton when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Charlotte Orioles took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sexton Big Reds on Friday.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sexton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Charlotte will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mason at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Sexton and East Lansing will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
