Basketball Game Preview: Model Blue Devils vs. Bleckley County Royals

The Model Blue Devils and the Bleckley County Royals will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Model knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Bleckley County likes a good challenge.

Model saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost to Darlington on the road by a 83-69 margin. The loss was the Blue Devils' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Bleckley County was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 40-39 to Perry. That's two games in a row now that the Royals have lost by just one point.

This is the second loss in a row for Bleckley County and nudges their season record down to 2-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one points. As for Model, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
