Cardinal Spellman came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the West Bridgewater Wildcats with a sharp 14-8 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Cardinal Spellman pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games.
