Softball Recap: Burley Takes a Loss

Burley came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-7 to the Jerome Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss on Tuesday.

Burley saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adalynn Olmos, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Burley's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Jerome, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11.

As of now, neither Burley nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
