Softball Recap: Lytle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lytle can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Marion Bulldogs on Saturday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lytle's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-14-1. As for Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Lytle nor Marion have any future games scheduled.
