Baseball Recap: Holy Cross' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

With a playoff win on the line, Holy Cross rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Acadiana Rams with a sharp 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Holy Cross' tenth in a row) raised their record to 31-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Acadiana, they now have a losing record of 17-18.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will face off against Brother Martin on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Acadiana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
