Softball Recap: Anson Comes Up Short

Anson lost to Parkwood on April 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolf Pack. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Demazia Tyson, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Anson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Parkwood, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Anson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against North Johnston on the 5th. As for Parkwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 loss against West Stanly on the 29th.
