Lamar County took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Spalding Jaguars. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won six in a row.

Spalding is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Lamar County and Spalding will both be playing Upson-Lee the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
