Basketball Recap: Thurston Takes a Loss

Thurston came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 77-25 loss at the hands of the West Albany Bulldogs. The Colts lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 65-35 score last time.

Thurston's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Albany, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thurston will head out to take on Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Albany, they will venture away from home to challenge Philomath at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
