Soccer Game Preview: Foster vs. George Ranch

The Foster Falcons will square off against the George Ranch Longhorns at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Foster's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Foster is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Bellaire on Tuesday. Foster lost 3-0 to Bellaire. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Cardinals are ranked 159th).

Meanwhile, George Ranch kept a clean sheet against Heights on Friday. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0.

Foster's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for George Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Foster beat George Ranch 2-0 when the teams last played back in January of 2022. Will Foster repeat their success, or does George Ranch have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
