Flag Football Game Preview: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Westwood Warriors + How To Watch

The Williams Field Black Hawks will square off against the Westwood Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westwood took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Williams Field, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Williams Field strolled past Skyline with points to spare, taking the game 19-3.

Williams Field got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tatum King out in front who picked up 108 receiving yards and one TD. King didn't just play on offense: she also made two total tackles and defended two passes. Gia McArdle was another key pass catcher, picking up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Williams Field's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Navaeh Mejia was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up five sacks herself. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one sack the last four times she's played. Zoe Zuviate was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles and defending three passes in addition to snagging an interception.

Meanwhile, Westwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Perry, falling 48-0.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Williams Field, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
