Softball Game Preview: Eula Pirates vs. Trent Gorillas

The Eula Pirates will challenge the Trent Gorillas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Eula is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Bangs on Monday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Trent came up short against Westbrook on Friday, falling 22-4.

Trent's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eula, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went Eula's way against Trent in their previous meeting back in March of 2018, as Eula made off with a 26-10 victory. Will Eula repeat their success, or does Trent have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
