Softball Game Preview: Nevada Cubs vs. Greene County Rams

Nevada and Greene County are an even 5-5 against one another since June of 2020, but likely not for long. The Cubs will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Nevada's offense. They came up short against East Marshall on Thursday, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Greene County also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to West Marshall on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Nevada, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Everything went Nevada's way against Greene County in their previous matchup back in May, as Nevada made off with a 7-1 win. Do the Cubs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
