The Thales Academy Rolesville Knights lost against the Neuse Christian Academy Lions on January 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Thales Academy Rolesville lost to Neuse Christian Academy at home by a decisive 48-34 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Thales Academy Rolesville in their matchups with Neuse Christian Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.

Thales Academy Rolesville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camille Foster, who scored 11 points. Kendall Hudson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neuse Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Little, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Little, who scored four points along with ten blocks and nine rebounds.

Thales Academy Rolesville's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-12. As for Neuse Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thales Academy Rolesville will challenge Friendship Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Friendship Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Neuse Christian Academy, Neuse Christian Academy and St. Thomas More Academy will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (St. Thomas More Academy is ranked 394th, while Neuse Christian Academy is ranked 396th).
