Baseball Recap: Poinciana Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Poinciana's offense. They came up short against the St. Cloud Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Poinciana now has a losing record of 4-5. As for St. Cloud, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poinciana will square off against Foundation Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Cloud, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
