Baseball Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Jake Attaway made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hudson will take on North Middlesex Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shepherd Hill Regional, they will face off against Marlborough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
