Volleyball Recap: Windermere Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olympia, Windermere was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ocoee Knights by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Windermere was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 21-25, 25-23.

Sadie Feazell was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 14 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high.

Windermere was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Ocoee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Windermere will venture away from home to challenge The First Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ocoee, they will head out on the road to face off against Central Pointe Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
