Basketball Recap: Vanlue Takes a Loss

Vanlue lost to Arcadia back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Redskins 54-21. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-9.

Adrienne Phillips was Vanlue's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Candace Saltzman held things down on the boards with five rebounds.

Vanlue has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. As for Arcadia, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

Vanlue has already played their next matchup, a 44-23 loss against McComb on the 21st. As for Arcadia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-51 win against North Baltimore on the 14th.
