New Covenant Academy and Marshfield are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Warriors will challenge the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Covenant Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Marshfield will be coming in after a defeat.

New Covenant Academy proved they can win big last Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Monett, sneaking past 2-1. The game was the first time New Covenant Academy have beaten Monett on their pitch since April 4, 2017.

Meanwhile, Marshfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Camdenton.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for New Covenant Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-6.

New Covenant Academy beat Marshfield 4-2 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
