Basketball Recap: Rossview Comes Up Short

Rossview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 33-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clarksville Wildcats. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 48-44 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Rossview still got an impressive performance from Ellie Hankemeier, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. Hankemeier is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Shakiah Vance had another great game (as she tends to do), putting up 22 points for Clarksville.

Rossview's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Clarksville, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Rossview will head out on the road to challenge Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville has already played their next contest (against Dickson County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
