Southeast Raleigh is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to Fuquay - Varina. That's two games in a row now that Southeast Raleigh have lost by exactly nine goals.

Meanwhile, Clayton managed to keep up with Fuquay - Varina until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Comets came up short against the Bengals, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for Clayton in their meetings with Fuquay - Varina: they've now lost four in a row.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Clayton, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
