Basketball Preview: Hart Longhorns vs. Kress Kangaroos
Hart is 8-2 against the Kangaroos since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hart Longhorns will be playing at home against the Kress Kangaroos at 7:30 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Friday, Hart had to suffer through a rough 75-40 loss at the hands of the Wolverines.
Meanwhile, Kress ended up a good deal behind the Cowboys on Friday and lost 62-45. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kress in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now lost five in a row.
Loss or not, Kress got some senior leadership from Landon Gilles and Dillon Morphis. Gilles scored 22 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Morphis. scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Hart now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Kress, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
Hart beat the Kangaroos 51-41 in their previous meeting back in January. Does Hart have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kangaroos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
