Recap: Concordia Prep Saints vs. Beth Tfiloh Warriors
After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Concordia Prep finally came back down to earth on Monday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beth Tfiloh Warriors. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Concordia Prep has scored all season.
Concordia Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Couser, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-4.
Concordia Prep now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Beth Tfiloh, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia Prep will take on Friends at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Concordia Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Beth Tfiloh, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against St. Frances Academy at 4:00 p.m.
