Basketball Recap: Schenectady Comes Up Short

Schenectady lost against Maple Hill back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Patriots were beaten by the Wildcats 44-13. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-2.

Schenectady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maple Hill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Schenectady will challenge Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Patriots' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Maple Hill, they will square off against Taconic Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
