Clayton won against Penns Grove on Monday with 21 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Clippers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Salem Rams a 21-0 shutout. The Clippers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Clayton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Salem, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Clayton has already played their next contest (against Camden Academy Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
