Volleyball Recap: Tharptown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tharptown lost against Lexington back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Tharptown sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 27-29, 15-9.

Tharptown's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Tharptown will head out to challenge Belgreen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lexington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tanner at 4:30 p.m.
