Southeast of Saline's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Smoky Valley Vikings a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Trojans have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Southeast of Saline has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Smoky Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Southeast of Saline by a score of 8-5 later that day.
