Basketball Recap: Hydro-Eakly Comes Up Short

Hydro-Eakly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 52-44 to the Lookeba-Sickles Panthers. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 61-50 to the Panthers when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hydro-Eakly now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lookeba-Sickles, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Hydro-Eakly will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cordell at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th. Lookeba-Sickles has already played their next contest (against Carnegie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
