Football Game Preview: Brunswick Blue Devils vs. Cleveland Heights Tigers

Brunswick is 0-3 against Cleveland Heights since August of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Brunswick will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Brunswick had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt Medina on Friday. The Blue Devils breezed past the Battling Bees to the tune of 35-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Battling Bees since October 2, 2015.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Cleveland Heights challenged Euclid on Saturday. The Tigers strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 38-23. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Cleveland Heights picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Brunswick, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Brunswick couldn't quite finish off Cleveland Heights in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 and fell 20-17. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
