If Western was riding high fresh off their 27-0 takedown of Somerset Academy - Canyons last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 27-6 to the Central Cobras on Friday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

AnaBella Puccio threw for 107 yards and one touchdown. Tearra Mortimer was her top target, picking up 98 receiving yards and one score.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Central, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
