Football Game Preview: Lake Washington Kangaroos vs. Kennedy Catholic Lancers + Official Tickets

The Lake Washington Kangaroos will venture away from home to face off against the Kennedy Catholic Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Washington is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Lake Washington was able to grind out a solid win over Hazen, taking the game 14-7. The 14-point effort marked the Kangaroos' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ronin Holmes was his usual excellent self, rushing for 202 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Holmes was just one part of a punishing run game: Lake Washington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 268 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 225 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Catholic was not the first on the board on Saturday, but they got there more often. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mt. Rainier 50-3. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lake Washington's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Kennedy Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
