Basketball Recap: Grass Lake Comes Up Short

Grass Lake has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 55-46 to the Hanover-Horton Comets on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th in Michigan, while the Comets are ranked 252nd in Michigan).

Grass Lake's loss dropped their record down to 21-2. As for Hanover-Horton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Grass Lake nor Hanover-Horton have any future games scheduled.
