Preview: Perry Hall Gators vs. Carver A&T Wildcats
After two games on the road, Perry Hall is heading back home. They will take on the Carver A&T Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Carver A&T took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Perry Hall, who comes in off a win.
Perry Hall scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 58-22 victory over Overlea on the road. Perry Hall has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 27 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Carver A&T ended up a good deal behind Dulaney on Wednesday and lost 47-33. Carver A&T has struggled against Dulaney recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jada McAliley, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elisah Guity, who scored eight points.
Perry Hall's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-3. As for Carver A&T, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Perry Hall didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Carver A&T when the teams last played back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory.
