Recap: Bozeman Bucks vs. Franklin County Seahawks
The Bozeman Bucks had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They secured a 42-38 W over Franklin County. This was payback for Bozeman, who suffered a 42-29 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the defeat, Franklin County saw an underclassman step up: Sa'ryiah McNair scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNair has scored all season.
Bozeman's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Franklin County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bozeman will take on North Bay Haven Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Bay Haven Academy has now lost 12 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. Franklin County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rocky Bayou Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 19th. Rocky Bayou Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
