Volleyball Recap: Woods Cross' Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Woods Cross came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Viewmont Vikings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Woods Cross took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-5.

Sitoafa Tausinga paced Woods Cross' offense, picking up 12 kills. Tausinga got some help from Zamari Christensen and her 26 assists. Christensen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alisi Tapaatoutai, each putting up four.

Woods Cross' win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Viewmont, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.
